As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for helping improve the user experience on Quad Cortex and Cortex applications (web, mobile, and desktop), and ultimately improve consistency and elevate the quality of our products.
Examples of projects you might work on include leading qualitative research or conducting usability studies to determine UX gaps and opportunities, identifying user expectations and needs, and supporting the development of brand messaging and positioning.
Neural DSP has a range of upcoming projects across multiple platforms as well as an ongoing cycle of developing our user experience throughout our proprietary hardware, web, and mobile.
Become familiar with our products and how we think about design.
Collaborate with product teams to identify and resolve product gaps.
Conduct end-to-end qualitative research (primarily using online tools) to understand user needs and emergent product opportunities.
Lead diary studies, surveys, moderated and unmoderated user studies, and in-depth interviews; adapting methodologies and experimenting with new approaches as needed.
Analyze research findings and deliver insights that product stakeholders can act on throughout the organization.
Communicate user problems and user needs to the wider business in a way that easily translates your insights into actionable solutions.
Contribute new ideas to help evolve the capabilities of the products.
Conduct follow up research to determine the success of those solutions.
5+ years of professional research experience.
Demonstrable history of conducting applied research within a product team and shipping products that have been shaped by your insights.
Experience with classic user research methods, including both generative and evaluative. Skilled at selecting the right tool for the job.
Collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders and partners, including designers, product managers, and software developers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence.
You’re a self-starter who actively seeks ways to make the Neural DSP experience easy to use.
You look for opportunities to solve problems in unusual and innovative ways.
The ability to play the guitar or bass is a BIG plus!
This position is full-time in Helsinki, Finland. However, interested candidates within Europe may apply and work remotely or relocate. If remote, we'll bring you in to meet the teams, see the office, and be onboarded in person.
