The section provides incredible dynamic control to perfectly condition your signal for the amplifier section, including a compressor and a wah model that perfectly recreates John’s iconic wah tone.

Four incredible amplifiers rigorously designed to deliver every nuance of John’s tone.
Piezo
Perfect for piezo pickups, but sounds great with single coils too!

Sonorous and rich, featuring a bright switch for increased presence at lower volumes.
Rhythm
Thunderous and insanely versatile. The tight knob, bite switch, and bass knob all interact with the amplifier’s gain structure to dial in the perfect amount of attack or growl.
Lead
Unbelievable sustain and deep harmonic structure take your lead tone to another planet - in an amplifier that looks like a spaceship!
Cabsim + IR Loader
A comprehensive cabsim module with IRs made by Jimmy T at DTHQ. Featuring six virtual microphones that can be easily positioned around the speakers. In addition to the included IRs, this module can be used to load your own impulse responses.
Room Mics
Brand new to Archetype: Petrucci, the room mic section gives you two new microphones with an adjustable level and distance.
Metronome
To perfectly supplement your practice, the metronome allows you to control time signature, accent sounds, and note values (the metronome is only available in Standalone).
Transpose & Doubler
Transpose leverages our proprietary pitch shifting technology to pitch your instrument up or down.
Doubler projects your signal to a stereo field with an adjustable spread control to give richness and depth.
EQ
The onboard 4-band semi-parametric equalizer allows for total control over frequency response. There’s one each for the clean, rhythm, and lead amps.
