CorOS 3.1.0 and Cortex Control 1.2.0 are now available
We are pleased to announce that CorOS 3.1.0 and Cortex Control 1.2.0 are now available. CorOS 3.1.0 introduces Quad Cortex compatibility for an additional two plugins, Fortin Nameless Suite X and Soldano SLO-100 X, as well as a variety of new devices and exciting features.
To take full advantage of these new features, we recommend that all Quad Cortex users update to CorOS 3.1.0 and install Cortex Control 1.2.0.
Other Neural DSP plugins will become Quad Cortex-compatible as their supporting CorOS versions are released.
Added
Import Plugin Presets
It is now possible to import presets from Quad Cortex-compatible plugins via Cortex Control. Simply drag-and-drop compatible plugin preset files from your computer onto a Preset folder in Cortex Control.
Bulk Editing
Bulk edit the names of Presets, Neural Captures, and Impulse Responses via the Directory by selecting multiple items and tapping the “Edit” button. You can also bulk edit metadata for Presets and Neural Captures.
Rename Stomp Assignments in Stomp Mode Gig View
Tap the edit button in Gig View while in Stomp Mode to rename the Stomp assignments.
Momentary Footswitch Behavior in Stomp Mode
Stomp Mode now supports momentary footswitch behavior. Configure momentary switch behavior after pressing the “Assign Footswitch” button in the parameter while in Stomp Mode or Hybrid Stomp Mode. Momentary footswitches can also be assigned when renaming Stomps within Gig View.
The Looper X device cannot have momentary footswitch behavior.
When assigning momentary footswitch behavior to the Freeze device, the momentary function triggers the effect rather than the bypass state of the device.
MIDI assignments do not support momentary footswitch behavior.
Master Volume Knob Assignments
The Master Volume Knob Assignments now appear when you adjust the Master Volume Knob, allowing you to change the settings without entering the Settings menu.

Fixed
An issue where users were able to drag and drop Neural Captures from Cortex Cloud directly into the Captures Library instead of a Custom Folder.
An issue where users were able to drag and drop Impulse Responses from Cortex Cloud directly into the IRs Library within the Directory.
An issue where an extra Digital Delay (ST) device was present on path 3 in the Factory Preset "2D PV505 Lead".
An issue where the Tuner would open with a single press of the TEMPO footswitch when the "Swap Tempo and Tuner Access" option was set to “Yes”.
An issue where the “New” model notification and indicator are displayed for plugin models when signing back into the same Neural DSP account after performing a factory reset.
An issue where sidechain delay compensation caused phasing, level, and panning issues in certain Presets.
An issue where the Tempo menu would not close automatically when the Quad Cortex was synced to incoming MIDI clock. An issue where the Cabs devices continued to display the “Missing IR” icon next to them, even after replacing the missing impulse responses. An issue where the Crossover Splitter would stop functioning after changing the “Splitter Type” parameter via Cortex Control.
An issue where the dry signal in the Plugin Blend device was slow to mute when the “Blend” parameter was set to 100%. An issue where two Presets could be saved in a Setlist with the same name if the name of the first saved Preset began with a lowercase letter. An issue where the Directory could show the contents of the My Presets Setlist while a different Setlist was selected. An issue where default Scene names were not maintained when swapping scenes in a plugin Preset. An issue where CC#48 values 64-127 would toggle the Looper X open/closed, and values 0-63 would close the Looper X. An issue where cutting and pasting multiple favorited Presets would remove the Presets from Favorites in the Directory. An issue where the bypass state of a device was not always correctly recalled on Preset load when using a momentary expression switch in switch mode with “Latch Emulation” enabled.
